Stretto Arts ("Stretto Arts," "we," "our," or "us") is a platform that helps musicians build and manage professional websites. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use stretto-arts.com, the musician dashboard, or any musician website hosted by Stretto Arts (collectively, the "Services").
Stretto Arts is operated by Aneid, LLC, a Washington limited liability company.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
Account holders must be at least 13 years old.
Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may use the Services only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
If we learn that a child under the age of 13 has created an account or is using the Services, we will promptly delete the associated account and personal information.
We collect information needed to provide the Services, including:
When you visit stretto-arts.com or a musician website hosted by Stretto Arts, we may collect:
When you submit information through a mailing-list signup form on a musician website, Stretto Arts provides the technical tools used to collect and store that information on behalf of the musician. The musician can access and export the information and may transfer it to an email or newsletter service of the musician's choice.
Stretto Arts does not use this feature to send newsletters or marketing emails on behalf of musicians. The musician determines what communications are subsequently sent and which third-party services, if any, are used to send them.
We do not collect birth dates, sell personal information, or use advertising or behavioral tracking technologies.
We use personal information to:
We do not sell personal information or use customer or visitor information to create advertising profiles.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, we process personal data based on:
You may withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time.
If you have subscribed to a musician's mailing list and wish to stop receiving communications, unsubscribe requests relating to communications sent by the musician should be directed to or handled through the musician or the email service used to send those communications.
Musician websites are intended to be public.
Information an account holder chooses to publish—including a name, biography, photographs, recordings, news, performance schedule, and other website content—may be viewed by anyone and indexed by search engines.
Mailing-list information submitted by visitors through signup forms is not intended to be publicly displayed.
Account holders should consider carefully before publishing personal information. Because musician websites are publicly accessible and may be indexed by search engines, information published on them may become widely available.
If content is removed or a website is unpublished, it is removed from the Services immediately. Search engines may continue displaying cached or indexed copies for a period of time.
Stretto Arts may provide tools that allow visitors to submit an email address or other information to join a musician's mailing list.
Stretto Arts collects and stores this information through the Services and makes it available to the musician associated with the website where the signup occurred.
Musicians may export this information and use it with third-party email or newsletter services of their choice. Those services are selected and controlled by the musician, not Stretto Arts, unless Stretto Arts expressly provides an integrated service in the future.
Once mailing-list information is exported from Stretto Arts and provided to a third-party service by a musician, that third party's privacy practices may apply to its processing of the information.
Stretto Arts does not sell mailing-list information or use mailing-list information submitted to one musician to market another musician, Stretto Arts, or unrelated products or services.
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Services, including:
These providers process personal information only as necessary to provide services on our behalf.
Third-party email or newsletter services independently selected by musicians after exporting mailing-list information are not Stretto Arts service providers merely because a musician chooses to use them.
Stretto Arts operates from the United States.
Our service providers may process personal information in the United States, the European Union, or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Musicians may independently transfer mailing-list information to third-party email or newsletter services operating in other jurisdictions. Those transfers are made at the musician's direction and may be subject to the privacy practices and terms of the selected third-party service.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with legal obligations.
Account holders may export their website content and mailing-list information through available features of the Services.
Deletion from Stretto Arts does not delete copies of mailing-list information that a musician previously exported or transferred to a third-party service.
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and applicable U.S. state privacy laws, you may have the right to:
Many of these actions can be completed directly within an account. You may also contact us at privacy@stretto-arts.com.
Visitors who submitted mailing-list information through a musician website may also contact us regarding information retained within Stretto Arts. Requests concerning information that a musician has already exported to another email or newsletter service may need to be directed to the musician or the applicable third-party service.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections, managed authentication, secure cloud infrastructure, restricted production access, and secure media uploads.
Mailing-list information is treated as non-public information and is accessible only as necessary to operate the Services and to the account holder associated with the applicable musician website.
While no system can guarantee absolute security, we continuously work to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Stretto Arts uses a cookie consent banner across the Services, including musician websites hosted by Stretto Arts.
Analytics cookies are activated only after you provide consent.
Essential cookies required to operate the Services, including authentication and session cookies, are always enabled because they are necessary for the Services to function.
You can change your cookie preferences by clearing your browser's cookies, which will cause the consent banner to appear again.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email or through the dashboard before the changes take effect.
The latest version of this Privacy Policy will always be available on this page.
